I thought a five star review would help these guys out but it appears that everyone is as happy as I am.We bought a GR3 spin bike from them which is a good bike. Two people made the experience smooth and enjoyable.Tracey in sales, she helped when I messed up my delivery details and took the stress out of it.Ash in the warehouse, he bent over backward to get my order delivered on an afternoon I had off (work as a vet) and it was very appreciated as it would have been a couple weeks until I could have otherwise got the gear.I would highly recommend The fitness shop, you won't regret the service

I was looking to buy the Horizon GR7 spin bike and had some questions about it’s meters (power, cadence…etc) and it’s Zwift comparability and Ash was very knowledge to give great answers to all of my concerns. I am very happy with the bike and happier with the level of service I received. Very friendly and “willing to take the extra mile”. The service and delivery were just fantastic. Highly recommended.

I was in the market for an exercise bike and stumbled across The Fitness Shop with a google search ... and boy am I glad I found them!!!I had an idea of the bike I wanted and called the Fitness Shop and had a great conversation with them about the exercise bike I wanted to buy and got all the information I needed.I ordered it online and collected it within an hour from the warehouse (collected safely and adhering to Covid lockdown protocols).I can't be happier and would not shop anywhere else for my fitness needs.These guys are the best!

I decided to purchase an elliptical trainer during Vic lockdown 5.0 and was unsure what to get. I spoke to Ash at The Fitness Shop Essendon and he provided all the information I needed. He also had an elliptical trainer on sale for at least 20% cheaper than anyone else on the internet. He organised for the delivery to be made the following morning. Can not fault the level of service I received at each stage of this transaction. I would not hesitate to purchase from them again and I would recommend this shop to others.

Very happy with my Horizon Omega Z treadmill. I want to specially John who delivered and installed the treadmill. He went above and beyond to show me how to work and maintain the treadmill. I also really appreciate that he was very particular about keeping my place clean and also helped with taking all the cardboard out. It's the little things! I did feel for him though - he definitely needed another person to help get the treadmill into the house especially because I live in a unit but I was not aware that I could book for another person. But nonetheless, thanks to the whole team. Fast booking, quick delivery and excellent service!

Even though gyms have re-opened, I'm too scared to go back to them. I was a germaphobe before COVID, you can imagine what I'm like now.After a lot of research, I decided on the Horizon Andes 5 Crosstrainer and I was blown away by how fast it was delivered. From ordering to it being at my front door, it was just under 2 hours.The manual isn't great for the machine, so I shot a quick email off asking if they knew how to connect the machine to my Home Wifi and Ash was fantastic, sent me a YouTube video which showed the step missing from the manual.Can't recommend these guys higher and I'll be purchasing more equipment from them in the coming months.

So far my dealings with this shop is great. They seem to know their products well and honest with the availability of and price. I was able to pick up my purchase on the exact date quoted. Staff were efficient and friendly.Base on the above experience, I trust that their after sales service would be outstanding as well. I would recommend this business to others.Update on after sales service: I have had trouble connecting my bike’s Bluetooth with my iPad. Tried turning on and off Bluetooth several times, didn’t work. Called the shop for assistance, they advised us to change the battery in the bike. Magic! Problem solved. So far the bike is great, working like clock work.

Both in our 50's , we found the staff to be extremely helpful and understanding. Huge choice of equipment and very easy to understand instructions on the use of all types of equipment - even for oldies ! Very good deal , so much so that a second treadmill was bought by our son.The delivery staff were also very good , with friendly courteous staff who were punctual and even took away the packaging after setting the machine up exactly where we wanted it.Overall , the whole experience was a pleasure.

We had a great experience from the start! We ordered an entire new gym full of lots of different machines. The ordering process was easy, they delivered and set every machine up in a very practical way in our home all in less than one day. Very seamless. All the equipment is the new state of the art and we would strongly reccomend the Fitness Shop.

Absolutely awesome experience with the team at The Fitness Shop. I can't speak highly enough of the knowledge, sales approach and not to mention the great deal they worked out for me on some high end equipment. Great follow-up but never pushy. Ash really knows his stuff and is always happy to share some great PT advice. These guys were not a local supplier for me but I traveled the extra distance to shop with them as they were prepared to "go the extra distance" for me. Please support this business, I'm sure you will not be disappointed - thanks guys!

We purchased the Inspire FT2 from The Fitness Shop, Ash was very helpful leading to an easy transaction. We're very happy with the equipment, assembly was time consuming but the parts set out and assembly manual were the best I've encountered. I have no hesitation in recommending the equipment or shop to anyone considering a high quality home gym.

This is a great shop to deal with. Ash (the owner) is very knowledgeable and very helpful. And - unlike a lot of other stores I contacted about purchasing equipment for my home gym - he actually called me back and discussed my requirements! I ended up purchasing a Bodycraft Multi Gym that not only fits into my garage (it was very difficult to find one that did), but it is a superb looking bit of equipment. I live in Canberra and ordered the equipment from his Melbourne shop. After I had paid for it, it was shipped promptly and arrived promptly, and Ash organised for Darryl Day, a Canberra guy who assembles gym equipment, to assemble it for me. This was also done very well and promptly. What a team! Then Ash rang a few days later to see that everything was OK. Top flight service along with top flight equipment (that fits in my garage - did I say that before?). It was so good to experience this combination. I have had a few bad experiences lately with suppliers - so this has restored my faith. No excuses now for not getting fit in 2018!

We had an excellent experience at The Fitness Shop, Ash was extremely helpful considering we are amateur fitness types. We went in having a good idea of what we wanted to spend and come out with, Ash tailored the equipment to fit our budget and needs and we felt really comfortable with the whole transaction. On top of this, the trainer we purchased was not in stock at the time and Ash was generous enough to lend us the floor stock until it arrived. With our gym equipment fully installed by Ash himself, we are now loving it! Couldn't be happier, thanks Ash and Nancy! We will be back to build on our home gym in no time.

Found Ash via searching. Extremely helpful and friendly assisting me in finding the right spin bike that will fit my small space. I was kept up to date with delivery which arrived exactly on time. It was wheeled into place. Took me less than 10 mins to put together and first workout completed very nicely.Ash has some nice products and won't be long before I'm back for a beautiful rowing machine.All in all a friendly customer focused team, a fresh and pleasant change from most sellers who seem to never need customers! Don't look any further if you are in the market for home gym equipment. The service provided by Ash was first class. Not only did he come and setup the product at a convenient time and take away all the boxing, but he resolved a tricky issue with the manufacturer. In the end, Ash made several trips to the house and took care of the problem. We now have a perfect setup and I am so glad we went via The Fitness Shop.

Excellent customer service. This included follow up service to replace a cosmetic piece that was slightly damaged in transit. Ash delivered the bike on a weekend, assembled and removed the bulky packaging. After a few weeks on the bike you can really feel the difference in quality. Extremely happy with the purchase. Will recommend 'The Fitness Shop' to anyone that is after a quality piece of exercise equipment. You also know that if there are any problems down the track they'll be happy to help out. Get in and have a look before wasting your time on the endless sites online.
